Dress Standards

You are the face of the company and your dress standard portrays a sense of professionalism to our customers.

All employees must ensure that they maintain an appropriate standard of dress at all times and your uniform is worn correctly and in a professional manner i.e. clean, ironed, and in good condition.

Your uniform identifies you as an employee of the company and is an important part of the company image. Uniforms must only be worn when you are at work or on the way to or from work, unless otherwise directed by your manager.

Safety

  • All employees, contractors and visitors must wear the appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for a particular operational area that they work in or visit.
  • Appropriate PPE is, but not limited to Hi-Visibility vests or jackets, hand, eye and ear protection, suitable laced footwear which offers toe and ankle protection.
  • If you are unsure what you should be wearing in any given situation, please talk to your manager.

Presentation

  • Hair is to be kept clean and tidy in keeping with the company’s professional image.
  • Hairstyles worn and any hair colouring must be consistent with the professional image of the company.
  • Jewellery must be worn in moderation.
  • For your own safety it is recommended that customer facing employees do not wear anything that can be grabbed or tugged down.
  • Name badges must be worn at all times when uniformed employees are on duty or at work.
  • Uniform items are replaced on a fair wear and tear basis upon return of the old uniform item.
